The movement and dial are fitted in a case with a hinged dust-cover over a sapphire crystal display back. The straight lugs with rolled ends and screw-pins, and the turban crown are all typical Patek Philippe styling features. The case is sealed against dust and water and tested to a pressure of 2.5 atmospheres.
