The Late antique Victorian jewelry period was filled with many unique styles. It also featured a wide variety of jewelry types. The popular wide angle bracelets of earlier eras were replaced by narrow, rigid bangles that are still popular today. Another popular trend during the Late Victorian era was chatelaines which were hooked over the waistband of a dress or apron. Typically they were used to hold a watch on a chain or just to hold a decorative jewelry piece.
